The Los Angeles Racing Dragons is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to the sport of dragon boat racing. Founded in 1998, our membership has grown from a small family of paddlers to over 100 paddlers of various ethnicities. We are a diverse team, with paddlers ranging from recreational to competitive, adolescences to seniors, and even a full crew of breast cancer survivors. Dragon boat racing is a very involved sport, emphasizing teamwork, good sportsmanship, and camaraderie.

In addition to racing, we support the community by:

  • Participating in local beach clean-ups
  • Conducting paddling and steering clinics to other dragon boat teams
  • Providing custom paddling clinics to Upward Bound and the Cub Scouts
  • Organizing and coaching the first breast cancer survivor team in California, the Los Angles Pink Dragons.

Our organization operates on a volunteer basis, ensuring that 100% of your contribution goes directly to the team operations. While we welcome any donations, please consider the following benefits from making a contribution:
