Version 8 - 2011

Developed by Eddy and Kenny Kim

This is the 8th revision of the Los Angeles Racing Dragons Website deployed in 2011. It uses the latest technology available on Ruby on Rails 3 and is clean slate reboot of the website. It has been custom built from the ground-up to maximize the team's presence on the web while streamlining management tasks. While the homepage has improved iteratively, the secure side of the site has undergone a complete transformation with a new user interface and improved data management and analysis.

Version 7 - 2009

Developed by Eddy and Kenny Kim

Written in Ruby on Rails 2, this website was the culmination of thousands of hours of labor. It was used as a testbed for the authors to experiment with a new web language and took much longer to develop than anticipated. It also featured the first complete collection of the history, races, and other notable events for the Los Angeles Racing Dragons. There were some major flaws in the design that were consequences of a difference between design and actual usage patterns, but was a crucial stepping stone for LARD8 (TeamSite ver1.0).

Version 3 - March 2000

Developed by Eddy and Kenny Kim

Back in 2000, the level of technology available for websites was very limited with upload/download speeds a severe restriction on design as most people were still accessing the "web" via a modem. This site was written as a collection of static pages and was all hand coded using what would now be considered very unsightly layout and with code that would make any programmer cringe.
