LA Racing Dragons 3 day Dragon Boat Clinic
Come check out Dragon Boating with Southern California’s most established team.
The LA Racing Dragons will be holding a 3 day introduction to dragon boat racing for first time recreational or competitive paddlers.
Schedule:
Day 1, Saturday, April 7th:
Intro to Dragon Boat Meet Your Instructors
1 Hour On-water Practice – timing and rotation
Day 2, Saturday, April 14th:
2 Hour On-water Practice – Catch, Pull, Recovery, Power & Pace
Day 3, Saturday, April 21st:
2 Hour On-water Practice – Race Starts, Race Sets
The Sunday following the last practice (Sunday, Apr 22nd), all interested paddlers will be able to experience competition first hand and race with the team against other teams in the area.
*All Paddlers are welcome to jump in on regular practice with the team Sunday mornings as well.
The LA Racing Dragons is a paddling club based in Long Beach, CA. In our ten years of existence, we have established ourselves as the most successful team in the area and have built a reputation for excellence and competitiveness. Come, get some sun, make new friends, have a good time, and experience dragon boating at its finest.
