Welcome New Paddlers! The Los Angeles Racing Dragons would like to invite you to check out the fastest growing watersport in the world– Dragon Boat Racing! Come try it out and meet our family. All ages and skill levels welcomed.
The simplest directions to the beach are:
605 South to 7th St. (south of the 405)
Exit Studebaker and turn Left.
Go to 2nd St., and turn Right.
Go past Pacific Coast Highway, over the bridge.
Keep to the right and exit Appian Way (at the end of the bridge)
Make a left and find metered parking.
LARD meets at the tree on the right as you walk through the parking lot towards the bridge.
Wear clothes that can get wet. T-shirts, board shorts, and flip flops recommended. Bring drinking water and sunscreen. Paddles and Personal Floatation Devices (PFD) provided.
